A Dallas-based developer is going big with its first project in San Antonio — a luxury apartment development adjacent to the La Cantera Resort & Spa.
Presidium at Chase Hill, a 370-unit apartment complex on a 17-acre site, will be at the intersection of Chase Hill Boulevard and Babcock Road.
Though this is its first local development project, investment and management firm Presidium Group owns two properties in San Antonio — the Branch at Medical Center and Spice Creek, also near the medical center. The company owns properties across Texas, Florida and Maine, according to its website. It is building similar Presidium-branded apartments in Fort Worth and Jacksonville, Florida.
Oklahoma City-based Rees Associates, Inc. designed the project. Presidium tapped Pape-Dawson Engineers Inc. as engineers for the 425,000-square-foot development and Hitchcock Design Group is the landscape architect.
Mark Farrell, president of development for Presidium, said the property will offer expansive Hill Country views and high-end amenities.
“This project is the next step in our mission to redefine the standard of luxurious living,” Farrell said.
Units will include nine-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and walk-in closets. The property will have different amenities, including a dog park, a gourmet kitchen/bar for resident use, a rooftop terrace, luxury pools, outdoor kitchens with grilling areas as well as private cabanas that overlook a golf course.
Estimated completion is by mid-2022, according to Presidium.
